Cathrine Sadolin: founder of Complete Vocal Technique (CVT)

Cathrine Sadolin is one of the leading voice researchers in the world. Her 25 years of research, combined with her own experience as a professional singer, has inspired innovative thinking within the field. She has developed techniques to ALL vocal styles where it is possible to produce ALL sounds in a healthy manner. In 2005 she opened together with Henrik Kjelin the Complete Vocal Instititute (CVI), situated in Copenhagen with branches in many countries. CVI is today the largest singing institute for professional and semi-professional singers in Europa.

Singer and vocal coach (BMus) Jeroen Manuhutu introduced CVT in The Netherlands in 2003. In 2005 he was taught by Cathrine Sadolin during the very first 1-year Singer Course in Copenhagen. Then he graduated at the Complete Vocal Institute (CVI) in Copenhagen for the 3-year Singing Teacher Course. He is now an authorised CVT Teacher. As a CVT-pioneer in The Netherlands he has been the Dutch agent for CVT and later CVI for 7 years. Jeroen teaches CVT at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp and at the ArtEZ Popacademy in Enschede.
