BIOGRAPHY

With the age of 19 Jeroen started his musical career as a pianist/singer at the Hilton Hotel Schiphol Airport. After 10 years of experience as a lead singer of the successful pop band Blow Your Mind he went to the Conservatory in Tilburg and in Utrecht where he graduated with honours.

In Copenhagen Jeroen specialized in Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) with the 1-Year Singer Course (2005) and the 3-Year Singing Teacher Course (2007-2009) and is therefore an authorised CVT Teacher. After introducing CVT and founder Cathrine Sadolin in The Netherlands in 2003, he worked for 7 years as a pioneer for CVT and the Danish Complete Vocal Institute. Beside CVT he also attended courses in EVTS, Voiceworks Method and Pahn.

Jeroen performed in radio and TV shows and sang with lots of sessions and in studios. He performed in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Scotland, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Kenya. Als soloist he sang with a lot of international dance productions. With Crew7 he reached the number 1 position in the German Dance Charts.

Since 2001 Jeroen has been teaching singing, as well in his studio as in music and theatre schools. He gave workshops at conservatories and at schools for speech therapists. Among his clientele were well-known artists from the Dutch theatre and musical theatre world.

At the moment Jeroen is a member of the Amsterdam Gospel Group Loud & Proud. With close harmony group EnCloseD he will perform in the Dutch theatres in 2011/2012. As an active freelance singer he sings solo as well as in vocal groups.

Jeroen is also a singing teacher at the Vocational Education Artist in Tilburg, a vocal technique teacher at the Popacademie ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (Conservatory for pop/rock) and a guest teacher at the Hogeschool Utrecht (University of Applied Sciences) with postdoc trainings for speech therapists.
